Life’s Café at Maker Fest Vadodara

Life’s Café made a presence at Maker Fest Vadodara, held on February 3-4, 2024, from 10 am to 6 pm. Spearheaded by a dedicated team comprising of Jil Chhaniara, Hardik Patel, Devika Trivedi, Hrishika Sen, Priyanshi Kolhe, Kamya Upadhyay, Naureen Ganam, Vidhi Parmar, Keya Dixit, Nazema Merchant and Kirti Kapoor—the event aimed to nourish not just the stomach but also the heart and mind.

Life’s Café was designed to offer a holistic experience, balancing various aspects of life, including education, career, relationships, work, and the joy of living. With this idea, the team prepared to present Life’s Café at Maker Fest Vadodara, creating a space where visitors could explore and reflect on these crucial areas of life.

Day 1 Highlights: The first day of Life’s Café saw an impressive turnout, with notable figures such as Mr. Ashish Bhavsar from the Vadodara Innovation Council, Mr. Premraj Kashyap, Managing Director of KYB Conmat, Mr. Nilesh Khimasaria ;COO Galaxy Sivtek and Mr. Amit Arora, Founder of Paperball Education and Innovation.

In addition to these esteemed guests, the event was attended by numerous school and college students, parents, and professionals, all eager to engage with the innovative concept of Life’s Café.

We all sang together with a group of people at the café that lightened and brightened up the mood of everyone around!

Day 2 Highlights: The second day continued to attract notable visitors, including Dr. Chintan Vaishnav, Mission Director of Atal Innovation Mission, Mr. Sudhir Joshi, DAO of Vadodara, Dr.Priyanka Behrani, psychologist and professor, Ms. Kinjal Shah, Vice Principal of D.R. Amin Memorial School and Dr. Krati Shah.

The sweetest moments of the day were in the small games that kids enjoyed while their parents reflected, a sweet gathering of individuals who continued singing songs and clapping to a beat and of course relishing the sweet candies served!

Life’s Café provided an innovative and peaceful experience, offering attendees new perspectives on various areas of life. The engaging environment encouraged visitors to reflect on personal growth and development, leading to overwhelmingly positive feedback. Many attendees expressed their eagerness for the creation of a permanent space where such enriching experiences could be regularly accessed.

The event successfully demonstrated the potential of Life’s Café to inspire and impact lives positively.
