We hosted the Career Café (again!) from May 30 to June 1, 2024, at Yuvalay, Vadodara. The three-day event attracted around 50 participants and visitors, including students, parents, working professionals, and esteemed guests.
The Career Café team comprised dedicated members Kirti, Jil, Nem, Vishakha, Heer, Ananya, Ramyata, Vaidarbhi, Hrishika, Kamya, Dhruva, Devika, Jit, and Rudra, who contributed in varying capacities. The event preparation and execution were supported by esteemed professionals and academicians, enhancing the overall experience.

- Preparation Stage:
Mr. Amit Karandikar offered invaluable insights and suggestions, highlighting key industry aspects and the challenges faced by freshers in their careers. Mr. Rajesh Parmar, an English teacher at Vidyut Board Vidyalaya, played a crucial role in improving the translations of activities, ensuring accessibility for participants facing language barriers. - Day 1:
The first day primarily saw participation from school and college students. - Day 2:
The Café welcomed Mr. Darshan Patel from Oneiro. Additionally, Ms. Kalpana Kshatriya, a counsellor, noted the effectiveness of the event’s methodology compared to traditional career counselling tests. - Day 3:
The final day featured a diverse group of attendees, including students, parents, professionals, and social contributors. Dr. Krati Shah, a doctor and active environmental and educational advocate, visited, followed by Ms. Varsha Prasad, Academic Coordinator at Alembic Group of Schools, and Ms. Madhulika, a teacher at Gujarat Public School. Later, Ms. Meghana Marathe, another school teacher attended with her daughter, and Ms. Swara Pandya returned to share positive feedback from her students.
Throughout the event, conversations extended to potential projects for underprivileged children, fostering an atmosphere of collaboration and community service. The Career Café was marked by a dedication to quality, sincerity, and a focus on personal and professional growth.
